Taro Kanazawa is the owner and CEO of HYSIA group headquartered in Japan. Taro worked in various divisions within the company, including food safety consulting, hygiene process management, pest, and microbial control since 2009.

Prior to HYSIA, Taro worked for management strategy and HR consulting firms based in Tokyo and Melbourne, Australia.

He founded HYSIA Singapore in 2016 as the group’s first overseas branch. The company now has a franchise partner in Taiwan, with offices in Singapore, Malaysia and Melbourne, supporting customers around Asia and Oceania.

With over 10 years on pest management, Jo Lynn Teh, BCE, is a seasoned professional. An urban and medical entomology graduate, she holds the esteemed Board Certified Entomologist (BCE) accreditation from the Entomological Society of America.

Jo Lynn is also a lecturer at Republic Polytechnic, Singapore, teaching Integrated Pest Management. Representing HYSIA Singapore at the Singapore Pest Management Association (SPMA), she collaborates with various stakeholders, including government agencies and service buyers.

Her expertise spans pest management services, pesticide manufacturing/distribution, regulatory affairs, and industry policies. Jo Lynn excels in technical and operational strategy, consultation, investigation, process management, training, and education, shaping the industry with her comprehensive skills.

Eu-Zhin Chan’s journey began as a Research Officer in Vector Control Research Unit, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Transitioning to the corporate realm with Sumitomo, a leading Japanese chemical manufacturer, he offered technical support to key clients in Southeast Asia. Eu-Zhin, now leading HYSIA Malaysia, holds food safety certifications, including Internal Halal Auditor and ServSafe Food Protection Manager.

With a background in research, food safety management, and technical advising, Eu-Zhin plays a pivotal role in HYSIA’s global operations.

Andy Tan leads the operations of HYSIA Singapore with more than 20 years of experience under his belt in the pest management, cleaning, and facility management industry. With a rich background as a director and general manager for four cleaning companies, Andy has honed extensive skills and knowledge. A natural leader, he believes in setting the standard through exemplary leadership, ensuring top-notch service for HYSIA customers.

Formerly the Assistant Executive Steward at The Ritz-Carlton Singapore, Andy’s tenure in the hospitality industry profoundly shaped his commitment to customer-centric service values. This ethos is at the core of his role at HYSIA, where he prioritizes precision, discipline, and integrity. Andy is dedicated to leveraging his wealth of experience to assist customers in addressing their needs across pest management, food safety, and hygiene.
